

NOX: Chapter 1 is our final project at Game Design master. Explore and solve puzzles in a Escher inspired environment with shifting gravities and perspective puzzles.




The Game
NOX is a first-person puzzle game in which the player must utilize changes in gravity to navigate the nightmares of a child in a world inspired by the works of Escher.

My role as a...
Game Designer
- Design core features of the game.
- Work on the narrative of the world.
- Define abilities of the enemies and their behaviour.
- Create and implement unique puzzles of the game.
Level Designer
- Work on many of the levels, having always in mind the work of Escher.
- Design of the events & encounters with the enemies through the gameplay.
- Breakdown of a level: HERE
Technical Designer
- Program most of the UE Blueprints included in the game.
- Scripting of events that take place in the levels.
- Link with the programming team.
- Work on debugging and performance.
- Work on AI and animations (AnimBP) of one the enemies.
Pitcher
- Pitch the game to different stakeholders thorugh the course of the development
